R&D DEPARTMENT

We are proud of our in-house R&D department. Its main task is to work towards progress in the construction and production of Li-ion batteries. R&D employees competently support our customers at every stage of product development:

  • assistance in needs analysis and preparation of full product specification,
  • selection of the best Li-ion chemistry (LiFePO4, NMC, LMO, LTO) depending on the application.
  • selection of cell type and model,
  • selection of suitable control and security elements: BMS, PCM, contactors, breakers, etc.
  • mechanical structure of the battery's casing and chamber ‐ plastic, aluminium, steel.
  • thermodynamic simulations and testing ‐ selection of the temperature control system
  • system integration ‐ controllers for motors and charger
  • communication with the main ECU ‐ display, state of charge, range evaluation, intelligent applications, etc.
  • CE, UN38.3 and IEC 62133 test management.
  • after-sales systems and support (warranty service, usage history, remote assistance)
  • end-of-life services: recycling, second life options.

ETC actively works with

the Mechanical Department and Electronics and Photonics Department of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology and with the National Centre for Research and Development. We are proud of our implementation of the project "Family of Li-ion battery solutions for forklift drive systems”
